The Hitman finds a Home

Just got the news yesterday that my short story, The Hitman, will be published in The Opening Line online literary magazine in February. Their theme that month will be “Destiny.”

The Hitman is about a hired killer tasked with recording his target begging for his life before completing the job…only to discover his target WANTS to die. This leads to the hitman being forced to persuade his target on the merits of living while the target tries to convince the hitman that he should die.

It’s a dark absurdist story that revolves around the age ‘ole debate between free will vs. determinism. Check it out in February.
